"SOME OF THE MOST COURAGEOUS PEOPLE

I HAVE EVER MET ARE THE ONES WHO WALK THROUGH

MY APPROACH

STATEMENT

Many people are ready to make changes, either big or small, but don't know where to start. They haven't found a therapist they connect with or can trust. Some people have been too embarrassed to try therapy, or simply haven't been able to prioritize themselves due to other life demands.

At times, we all can become overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, insecurities, self doubt and old patterns of thinking and behaving. These can impact a person's quality of life, work and relationships (marriage, friendships, dating, coworkers, extended family, adult children). Therapy can be a valuable resource to help you address what isn't working and regain the life you want.

PHILOSOPHY AND APPROACH

I believe we all have within us the resources and strengths needed to live meaningful and abundant lives. My focus is client centered and interactive. I am warm, open and non-judgemental. We will work collaboratively to help identify what is and isn’t working for you and why. We will uncover roadblocks or dead ends and we will explore possible solutions and courses of action.

ABOUT

ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME

I have been in the community working with individuals and couples for 20+ years. I spent a portion of my early training years beginning in the year 2000 working with disadvantaged children and families as well as victims of violent crimes. I attended both Sonoma State University and California State University, Fullerton where I obtained my undergraduate degree in Psychology. I earned my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena in 2003. I was awarded my license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2005 which was the year I began my private practice. I am constantly reading, attending workshops and consulting in order to further refine my skills as a therapist. Most importantly, I absolutely love what I do!
